PSN ID Change
Hands up who put a lot of thought into their Gamertag when they first created it? We can assure you none of us did. It's a bit like the email address you have that makes you cringe everytime you have to tell someone it. The Gamer Wager office has some right shockers when it comes to Gamertags, BawBags69, fudginghell, YoMamadutty.... the list could go on. A huge sigh of relief swept the office when PlayStation announced that from 10/04/2019 you could change your PSN ID, a meeting was called to discuss what the method for creating a new ID would be, a bit like those shit "whats your indie band name" things that you see on social media that no one actually does (mine was Plateaued Verruca, yes seriously!). We had a stab at letting other people decide on our new name, that came to an end when someone was given the name SonicNoncedMe. It is an excellent idea for PlayStation to allow you to rebrand yourself on PSN, afterall, XBox have allowed you to do it for a long time but at a cost of £8.99 (Damn it Bill, do you not have enough money already!) Have you changed your Gamertag? Let us know why you changed it on social media.
Gamer Wager App
We gave you an update this week regarding our platform, we obviously know that there have been announcements in the past but we have really got our shit together now and are confident that we will deliver something that will blow you all away. The App will work the same as a poker site would work but instead of having different rooms based on budget we will have different rooms based on the game you wish to play. You will be able to invite your friends to join you if you wish and we have a push notification feature that will let you know if someone wants to challenge you. You can play from £1 per game if you want to, there's no rake system on the Gamer Wager platform so all your winnings will be your own. The whole journey from entering a room to finding an opponent to bet settlement is seamless making the experience easy and simple to use.
