It's been a while since we gave you one of our weekly updates on the things we have been talking about in the office, so here goes.
Apex Season 2
Yes, season two launched and we have not stopped playing! We've now got dragons and those fuck off great monsters are now right in the map as well, obviously we've tried to land on them we couldn't help ourselves. The new character Wattson has some cool new tricks and that french accent is mesmerising mid game. We also got the L Star gun which can knock down doors but is only available in care packages, nice one Respawn now we've got to work for it! Daily challenges are forcing us to use other characters which is good but aren't we all trying to build our stats with our favourite character? Just give us the total kills option for our banners I am sure we would pay for that if it were available? Anyway, Apex is still king of the office!!
PES VS FIFA
Yes, we know this debate has been going on since 1996 and everyone has their own camp, but, the debate has started again early this year. From the initial footage of PES it looks incredible, the game play is always better and as we know a hard fought one nil win on PES can be the best footballing experience in gaming. We await the PES demo to see what it's like to play, last years version was good until you got to the master league modes and online which all seemed a bit, poor. FIFA has the licenses so always seems a bit more polished but game play wise for us, it's not the same..... BUT..... FIFA20 now has Volta Football! You may not remember FIFA Street but it was immense! Caricatures of current and legend players doing all kinds of madness with a ball in various locations around the world, from streets to beaches... the game was incredibly fun to play! This could be the deciding factor in which game to buy this season because no matter how good PES is, it wont have the Volta Football option!

We have had a lot of people asking about the Gamer Wager hats so have made the decision to sell them, we wont make any money on them they will go for how much they cost us plus the postage, they should go live on the website next week and we will be giving some away on our social media so keep an eye out for that.
